West Runton to Beeston Bump Circular Walk

MEETING POINT [OS Explorer TG 185431]: West Runton Seaview Car Park. There is a reduction for parking here for NENBC members on production of membership card when the car park is manned, which should be from 9:00am. Prior to 9:00am full parking charges (£3 day) apply using the ticket machine.
DISTANCE: Approximately 3.5 miles.
FACILITIES: The Seaview Café will be open for takeaways on our return and there are toilets by the car park.
WALK DESCRIPTION: A circular walk from along the coast path to Beeston Bump, and back along the footpaths behind the Shire Horse Sanctuary to West Runton Common and along to the Seaview Car Park. The walk is fairly level, unless you wish to climb Beeston Bump summit!
ADDITIONAL NOTES: For the safety and well-being of everyone, please continue to respect social distancing on this walk. Binoculars are recommended to gain full enjoyment from your birding and scopes can be useful if you fancy carrying one! Stout footwear is recommended as paths may be slippery or muddy particularly after rain. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times but young people aged 16 and 17 are welcome to attend unaccompanied with prior written consent from a parent or guardian who has also supplied a phone number where they can be contacted in an emergency. Sorry no dogs except guide dogs.
