Things will need to be a bit different for a while with our walks at Felbrigg Park National Trust (NT). At time of writing, the Sexton’s Lodge car park which we have historically used remains closed and parking within the estate is limited to the main car park which does not open until 9:30am. Consequently, we will be starting our walks from the Main Car Park from 9:45am.
Although booking a car parking space is not currently essential during the week, NT recommends doing so and you can do this online. Entry and car parking are free to NT members but non-members will be charged for both at time of booking. Please take a look at the NT website www.nationaltrust.org.uk/felbrigg-hall-gardens-and-estate for car park and entry reservations.
It would be useful to know if you are planning to attend so we have a reasonable idea of numbers if possible as we will need to meet the 'Rule of 30' requirements for outdoor activities, but we would be happy to see you if it is just a spur of the moment thing on the day.
This walk caters for all levels of ability. We will take a leisurely walk around the Park & Lake, route dependent on the local bird and other wildlife likely to be present on the day. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather - footpaths in Felbrigg can be muddy at any time of the year and respect social distancing on the walk. As usual, children are welcome if accompanied by well-behaved adults, but we regret no dogs.
