We are unable to run our usual 3rd Wednesday of the month walks around Felbrigg Park at the moment but we have a Felbrigg Park Walks Week planned. PLEASE RESPECT AND ABIDE BY THE RESTRICTIONS WE ARE PUTTING IN PLACE to make this event as safe as possible and within the legal requirements.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we are only able to host groups of 6 people for walks, including the leader, so we will be running 7 walks over seven days for 5 different pre-booked members on each day beginning Sunday 18th October. We will notify you of how to book prior to the event along with an update on National Trust [NT] restrictions in place at the time. The car park at Sexton’s Lodge remains closed at this point and the NT currently requires all visitors arriving by car to pre-book a parking space if using the main car park. This remains free for NT members but non-members need to pay for both the car parking and the visit. Walking on to the estate via public footpaths is allowed and doesn’t require pre-booking or a fee.
Social distancing will need to be observed and we obviously ask you not to attend if you have COVID symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has. Please note that car sharing should only be within Government guidelines, you’ll need to have your own binoculars / scope as we are advising not to share optics with anyone outside of your household and we recommend having hand sanitizer and a face mask with you should you wish to make use of the café or loos.
