This walk is aimed particularly at those starting out birding, and the walk is designed to allow us to view common species. We will meet at the car-park to Mannington Hall (TG 141321). Mannington Hall is to the east of the minor road from Matlaske to Saxthorpe, and west of the minor road from Matlaske to Itteringham; it is signposted from both (brown signs). The postcode for the hall itself is NR11 7BB, and this will take you to the car-park which is obvious by the gates to the hall. There is an honesty box for car park (£2 donation requested), and toilets. From the car-park we will do a circular walk, including the hide, covering a range of habitats from wet woodland, farmland and parkland. The circular walk and can be very wet underfoot so wellingtons are advised. We anticipate being out for 4 hours. Children are welcome if accompanied by well-behaved adults, but we regret no dogs. To keep the club's carbon footprint small, please consider car sharing. Leader Janice Darch
