Weynor Gardens Kelling

Image of Weynor Gardens Kelling birding site

A small area south of the A149 coast road, roughly from just east of the Pheasant Hotel to the footpath from Kelling Heath, where the Little Bunting was found. An inland area covering a residential area of ex-military housing with arable fields on the south side leading to the base of Telegraph Hill at Kelling Heath. With the heath to the south and Muckleburgh Hill to the north, it is sandwiched between two good birding areas, so likely to attract a range species. Parking is very limited here, so the Pheasant Hotel could be a possible for parking with its footpath connection under the south side of Muckleburgh.
