Tunstead

Image of Tunstead birding site

Tunstead is a small village, mainly ribbon development, along the road between Scottow and Hoveton. The area is predominately agricultural with some intensive market gardening. There is a good network of footpaths and an area of rough grazing and wet meadows with pockets of wet woodland, along a small tributary of The Bure, accessed via Granary Lane, on the west side of the road. The railway marks the eastern boundary of the club's area and the southern boundary lies about a mile south of the village.
