The Raptor Watchpoint is a good place to see Goshawk early spring, also Honey Buzzard pass through on migration but no longer breed here. The village is surrounded by woods, parkland and arable fields to the north. The Village Hall car park St. Giles Road (NR24 2RB) is a good base to explore from.
