Muckleburgh Hill
A good viewpoint overlooking the sea at Kelling Hard. Parking is difficult, probably best to use Kelling village and walk east on the north side of the A149, towards the Pheasant Hotel, before taking the signed path north. An alternative is to park in Weynor Gardens (NR25 7EQ) but space here is very limited. From there you cross the A149 head west and enter through a gate, keeping to the track on the right. You climb up through mixed woodland to the top which is open with a seat. To the north west are Kelling Water Meadows and Quags (outside of the NENBC recording area) and to the north east Weybourne Camp and its airfield - location of the Muckleburgh (military) Collection. Often good for passage migrants, it is home to a wide range of woodland birds, boosted by warblers during the summer. The hill itself just falls within the NENBC area.
