Happisburgh

Image of Happisburgh birding site

A village on the coast, most famous for its losses due to erosion. The sea, cliff top fields and lighthouse often turn up rarer species for Norfolk. The parking on Beach Road is pay and display but has good facilities. The cliffs provide a good location for seawatching but with little shelter from the elements. The area around the church also provides good shelter for passage migrants. Art work thanks to John Hurst.
