Bodham

Image of Bodham birding site

A small village east of Holt on the A148. A good site for Swift but the better habitats are south of the village along Hart Lane which links down to the church. Around the church are several fishing lakes and a marl pit surrounded by well established hedges. Most arable fields have large margins which attract finch flocks in the winter. To the north there are Bodham and Weybourne Woods , which connect to Kelling Heath & Sheringham Park. Habitats: arable farmland, gardens, hedgerows, lake, pond, river, reedbed and woodland.
